A Job Complex

Recently a friend of mine has been going through hard times. He has stated that if anything could go wrong it will go wrong and has been going wrong in his life. He also stated that if you ever read the book of Job he is that guy! I've been through those times myself in the past and understand the frustration that grows through the times of trial.

It seems those times have come upon me and my family once again. I don't view this as a negative thing but an awesome chance to rely on on God fully! We should do this anyway but we often get caught up in ourselves and tend to over look God. Every so often we go through times of trouble, some more then others. In those times we should give all of our trust to God and rely on him alone to pull us through.

Today is the start of a new trial for my family and I. While brushing my teeth today I leaned over to spit and my hip went out. I wasn't lifting or doing and type of excessive activity. I just leaned over and BAMB instant pain! I don't know if you know that kind of pain, but it takes your breath away and you can't seem to straighten your self to an upright standing position. Meanwhile while I was struggling to get to a point where I could walk again.

My wife was on the phone with her mother. My wife works from home for her mother and does book keeping among other things for her moms store. While on the phone she learned that she would be jobless in a couple of months. Meaning our second source of income is about to stop. Me in pain and my wife in the midst of worrying about finances was the start of our day.

I also had a consultation with an oral surgeon today. It cost $70 just to meet the doctor for 15 minutes! In that 15 minute time period, I was told in the 14 years of their profession they have never seen anything like what was occurring in my mouth. I have two compound molars that are an oddity to the medical field. Which in turn means it is going to cost much more and may include drastic complications. Such as nerve damage, fracture of the jaw!

So that was the best $70 dollars I've ever spent! However my faith in God doesn't let these things get to me. I could take all of the above and worry until I get ulcers. Instead this is what I got out of the day. In the waiting room at the orthodontist there was a bible. I decided to read it and opened it up to the book of Romans. Here is what really popped out at me, being this is what was on my mind throughout the whole day.

ROMANS CHAPTER 5

Faith Brings Joy

1 Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us. 2 Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of highest privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God’s glory.3 We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they are good for us—they help us learn to endure. 4 And endurance develops strength of character in us, and character strengthens our confident expectation of salvation. 5 And this expectation will not disappoint us. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.

So needless to say.....

These times of trial build not only our faith in God, but also our Character which in turn gives us integrity and wisdom. I am glad for the trials I now face because they seem huge! However I know they are but a spec in the scheme of things. I know God will come through and things will be OK. I found comfort that there was a bible there in that waiting room. Later on in the day I had to get food for dinner. Hobbling around the store there were a few times I thought I might collapse in pain. I eventually made it to the register.

The cashier asked how my day was going. I gave her a brief description on my day as to not take up too much of her time. She looked at me and said, Don't worry God can do amazing things! and then she winked and smiled. I replied Ya know I've been thinking that all day long. I smiled back at her and was on my way home. I am praying this hip thing goes away over night, because I am back to work tomorrow. I can do the job but it is just going to hurt while doing it. I've done it before and can do it again.

I ask those of you who have faith in what God can do to pray for my family and I. Most of all pray for the way we handle our situations ahead. So that we may put fully our trust in the Lord and not be side track by worrying. I also ask that you pray that this makes us wiser and that what ever comes from this. That it be something that will ultimately give all glory to God and his love for all of us.

UPDATE:

My hip is feeling better. I am swollen and look lop sided but I managed to get through two very active work days. I am sore and want the pain to go away faster, but I know it will take time. Our car has been acting up it died two times today LOL!!! If that goes I don't know what we are going to do! I am keeping a positive outlook on things because our problems pail in comparison to so many others in the world. Thank you all for the prayers and the support. May God bless you all. My family and I just want to throw some love in your direction. We really do appreciate your prayers and concern.

Let Summer Swimming Commense!!!

We are off and running! Or should I say swimming? Just got back from church and are off to Foys lake for some swimming. We just had to stop off and do a few things first. On the checklist of things to do before heading to the lake.

1. Blog on Blogger.

2. Use restroom.

3. Make sure kids use restroom.

4. Grab sunscreen.

5. Stop and Eat Subway.

6. Drive to lake and pray car makes it!

7. If car breaks down bring water so we can walk home.

So I am on number 1 and really need to move to number 2 on the list. I hope whatever you and yours choose to do today. That it be safe and fun, and always full of happiness. I just realized I am starting to sound like a great aunt or something. Always ending a card with mushy happiness and joy. Sorry I can't help it, I guess I'm getting soft in my old age. Later all!!!!

Peace out!

P.S. Just be glad you don't have to be an eye witness to my farmers tan I will be unveiling today. It is quite flashy if ya know what I mean!!!

In The Hot Seat

Monday I am going to be going to a consultation to discuss how I am going to get three teeth yanked from my mouth. I have two wisdom teeth that need pulling. The third tooth is a casualty of war I'm afraid. In order to get my lower left wisdom tooth pulled they have to pull my molar to get to it. So I should be feeling wonderful after that is done! I am nervous about this because I have never had a cavity let alone a tooth pulled. So this is all new to me and puts me in the hot seat when it comes to the dental work to be done on me.

Speaking of hot!!! It is going to be horribly hot for the next two days. You know what that means for me and the fam? That means it is time to rip off our clothes down to our ghostly white complexions and our swimsuits! That's right the lake is calling!!!! I've only waited 6 months for this opportunity to arise! I am excited about the possibilities that will surely cause me to burn and look like a lobster. It is worth it however and I can't wait!

I just got back from our interface group. The topic tonight was about last Sundays message that was about sexual purity. It was an awesome night of bonding. The guys and the girls separated into groups and talked about lust and temptations that hinder sexual purity. We also talked about how the marketing of porn and sexual impurity is every where.

I feel like talking about person things such as lust and struggles with it is a really good thing. In fact if more people did this, there may be a change in what we as society deems as appropriate when it comes to using sex to sell. Sorry Mr. Gene Simmons if I don't agree with your marketing schemes. I'll skip the Sexcersise workout and go eat a big mac! At least that way I remain loyal to my wife. I signed into my myspace account tonight and below is the add that was featured as a sponsor! This is the main reason I hate myspace! It promotes sex as if it was supposed to be a hobby.

I for one am tired of being bombarded by this sexual marketing. This is why I love blogger. You have a clean and friendly atmosphere. You should check out last Sundays service. It is a must hear message!!! You can listen to it here....

I didn't want Levi to stop at the end of the message and I can't wait to hear more on this topic. As shown in the message this is a huge problem within our society and breeds decay of the family. I hope you take the time to listen to it.

Back In The Swing

It's been a straight week and a half since I went to Church or an interface group. I am past ready for fellowship tonight at our interface group. Every week we share our concerns with each other and pray with one another. It has been such an awesome thing to be a part of.

The support structure is there and you know you'll never be alone in your troubles. This has helped me to open up and share not only my faith with others but to long to share it.I love the support within our church. I've never experienced such closeness at any other church I have attended. Well we must be going and the kids aren't ready yet so I gotta go crack the whip!

If I Won The Lottery

I've been watching Lost and one of the main characters won the Lottery. If you have never seen Lost it is a MUST!!!! You can watch every episode for free on the ABC website here....CLICK HERE It is one of the best shows EVER!!! Anyway one of the characters won the lottery and it got me thinking on what if I won the lottery.

I always have thought I would use it for the good of others. I have always longed to do that with a passion. I just haven't found the outlet to do that. If I won the lottery I could then do and help whom ever I wanted. I could donate or fund charities for others in need. I could help many with the good fortune I won playing the lottery. I could fulfill my deepest desire and help children living with cancer. I could use that money for good!!!!

But is that what I would end up doing if I won the lottery? Motives change when you are suddenly rich or suddenly well known. People change when they are the in the spotlight. I've seen it first hand so many times. Decent people with morals and a down to Earth personality suddenly become shallow and self absorbed. Once they are well known they think they walk on water. When really their popularity will end in a blink of an eye. I have been there and experienced this first hand.

If I won the lottery would that happen to me? Would I use it for the good of others or just for the good of me? I would hope I would help many with it, but who's to say that I'd stay the same. Would greed consume me? Would so many ask for help that I'd turn away annoyed that so many ask of me but none say thank you? I might play the lotto someday and I am going to use the following numbers.....

4, 8, 15, 16, 23 & 42

For those of you who don't know where I am getting those numbers, just watch LOST and you'll know what I'm talking about. Anyway that is what I've spent my day contemplating. Does anyone else do this????

Work And Play

It is back to the grind today. Being back at work is great for paying the bills, but my heart is else where. I can't wait till it warms up a bit more, because the lake is calling my name. I love summer and summer activities with the family. I'm hoping I can enjoy every moment I can of summer this year. My brother is here now and I hope to share some of them with him and his son who will be visiting here soon! I got to run back to work I hope you all are having a great week!

You're Beautiful!!!!

I took a few pictures of the camping trip this week. 24 miles out of civilization seems to get you even closer to the beauty of nature. I snapped the above picture while thinking to myself this is the closest I am going to get to seeing Gods face while I am alive. The forces causing this sunset are amazing to me. The beauty of it and all that has to happen to make it occur is too much to phathom! Not only am I looking at a beautiful sunset but I am looking at Gods amazing creation that he called good in the book of Genesis.

It is undenyable to say there is no greater power pulling the strings to make something this beautiful happen nightly. The heavns really do declare the glory of God in soo many ways. I am in love with God because I may have been on vacation from my job, but God is never on vacation from his. He is always showing us that he is there through every sunrise and sunset. Down to the little things like a smile from a child or a hug from a spouse.

One of my favorite songs ever really says it all. While looking at the unbelievable views this week. This song was on my heart. It is a song by Phil Wickham called "You're Beautiful" and it is awesome! If you have never heard it before you can hear it here.....YOU'RE BEAUTIFUL

Listening to this song and seeing the sunset really brings me hope. Knowing one day this sunset I am so fascinated with will pale in comparison to actually seeing God face to face. I know I will see his face and it will be beautiful!

6ft Under.......

investigation after being found on Canadian shore over the past few weeks.

While waiting for my friend before we leave for camping. I was watching news and came across this strange story. I had to share it. It seems people are finding severed feet still in shoes along the Canadian shore line! There have been a total of 6 found over the last few weeks. They don't know where they are coming from or who they belong to. For the details you can read about it here: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/7462953.stm

Ok that is my last blog for a while unless there is something I just gotta tell ya!

Leaving today.

Won't be bloggin for a few days. We will be out and about in the wilderness. The kids are sitting with their gear all ready to go. We still have a few hours before we leave but they are ready NOW!!!! I am glad they are that excited to go. We'll see after their first trip whether or not they are the out doorsie type. I am sure they will love every minute of it. I was thinking of maybe building a lean to or a shelter with them and teaching them how to lash. I have to go pick up some twine at the store before we leave unless I want to make twine out of bark. I'm going to go with Walmart bought twine because I don't have enough patients to do it the Grizzly Adams way. I'll post pictures of the trip when we return.

Vacation!

One of the wonderful things about vacation is the fact that you can endulge in the act of over sleeping! For instance I just got up about 5 minutes ago. I've slept half the day away and have accomplished nothing at all. I love it!!!!! Later on today My buddy Rick and I are going to plan meals for our camping trip. The family is really looking forward to going out and experiencing their first real camping trip. It should be a lot of fun and the weather is supposed to be really great! Well I got to go finish drinking my coffee!

Eatin Sundays at Norms News

The family and I decided to take a walk to Norms News today and try their ice cream dishes out. Norms News is an old fashioned fountain diner on Main st. in Kalispell Montana. You can get yourself a cheese burger and a shake and buy magazines and candy while you are there. It is a neat little place that the kids loved.

Montana Zoo!

My brother and I spent Fathers Day at the Montana Zoo! You might be saying that we here in Montana don't have a zoo! I have pictures to prove you wrong. The Part of the zoo that we visited was the Avalanche Lake exhibit in the Glacier Park section of the zoo. Not only did we get extremely close to carnivorous animals but we had deer as trail guides. The animals were not afraid of humans one bit. It was an amazing day that screamed of Gods glory. Check out some of these pics!

What I Got For Fathers day....

I got the worlds greatest dad t-shirt and a hanger Jake made at school to hang my special clothes on. I now have a total of 3 magical hangers. One from each of the children and they all are awesome! Jake also had a questionnaire filled out all about me! I had to share it with you all.

Here is how Jake answered the questions on it......

My Dad is special because: "he says yes a lot!"

I like it when my Dad: "is being nice."

My Dad can do many things! I think he's best at: "Typing on the computer."

My Dad has a great smile! I like to make him smile by: "doing what he says."

My Dad is as handsome as a: "Rosauers worker." (I work for Rosauers and we Rosauers workers aren't that pretty.) ;)

My Dad is smart! He even knows: "math, times, multiplication."

I know my Dad is happy when: "I don't bring bubbles upstairs."

I know my Dad is mad when: "I bring bubbles upstairs."

I love my Dad because: "He says yes a lot."

You gotta love kids and the things they come up with! It is comforting to know that I am a push over and I am as handsome as a Rosaurers employee. If you ever come to visit know that bubbles are forbidden to be used on the second store of the house. However it is perfectly acceptable to use them in the basement or the living room that is located on the first floor. To all you fellow Dads out there.... HAPPY FATHERS DAY!!!

Today Is Good

The glorious day has finally arrived! As I made my departure from work and got into my car. I plugged in my Zune and listened to Shawn Mcdonald Listen Here . I was on my way to the first day of vacation. The sun shinning a smile on my face because I knew that there are 9 days between me and my next day of work. This has been long awaited and overdue. Working in retail is good but it is taxing on patients. The reason being is that the customer is always right!

Customers ask the craziest questions! Here are some examples one of them Greg told me about and I just laughed!!! You could write a book just on things customers ask you.

My favorite and most commonly asked question is.....

"Excuse me do you work here?"

What I want to say is......

"No, I am just wearing this outfit (Uniform) cause it's really cool!

Or in the case that I am stocking shelves.....

"No, I don't I'm just backwards shopping and I haul this handy hand truck around wherever I go.

Today a customer asked a cashier if we carried diet Root beer. The cashier paged me and asked me if we carried diet root beer.

Here’s your sign! Came to mind after trying to comprehend the question asked of me. What store doesn’t carry diet of any kind of soda? It may be that I am over due for vacation but that has got to be one of the weirdest questions ever asked! You’d think the cashier would know, considering she runs diet root beer through the register all of the time!

Greg was asked today why we didn’t carry a certain type of tea. The customer said it was in a box just like this! The customer was holding up a box of tea as an example. Greg stated;” The box you are holding is the tea you are looking for.” The customer just stood there and said, Oh!

No, Greg isn’t a Jedi Master using the Jedi mind trick, the customer was holding the tea they wanted and didn’t realize it.

Another person wanted to return some peanuts that tasted funny. Upon inspection of the can of cashews the produce manager stated they weren’t peanuts. The customer had never tasted cashews before and thought they were peanuts.

So needless to say I am thankful I am now officially on vacation!!!!!

Mt.Dew Flavored Doritos

Yes you heard me right! Tonight for our church interface group I fell for the new Frito Lay sales gimmick and bought the new mystery flavored Doritos chips. However from an inside source I learned what the flavor was and thought it would be fun for tonight's interface gathering. I must say the chips are just as disgusting as they sound. I don't recommend them. However Seth a die hard Dew fan said they were awesome! Personally I liked last years secret flavor that was Cheese Burger Doritos.

I'm a sucker for weird sales promotions such as the puke flavored Jelly Belly Jelly bean. Yes they did have it but I never got the chance to try it. However their jalapeno jelly bean is very jalapeno like and is very spicy. What will they think of next??? Glow in the dark Doritos for Halloween! That would be sweet!!!

Blogger Drought

I have not been inspired to write much lately. I think it has a little bit to do with the snow in June, Grey clouds and the fact I am a week away from vacation. I am looking forward to my week off. Money has been really tight and I can't do much, so I think I'll use a lot of the time studying the bible and spending it at home with the family. I think I'll use some of my extra time for prayer. I have a heavy heart when it comes to people close to me that don't necessarily know the Lord or even want to get to know him. At one point at church tonight I almost lost it.

My pastor was talking about his friend that was a pastors son. He was rebelling against God and his father tried till the day that he died to get him to come to Jesus. It wasn't until after his fathers death that he came to read his journals. The pages were stained with his fathers tears and the entries were his prayers praying for his lost son to come to Christ. That was when he decided to accept Christ as his savior. However he knew that his dad died not knowing if his son would ever accept Jesus Christ as his savior.

While hearing this story I was hit hard. I felt the lump move up my throat and tears begin to build in my eyes. We all have people like that in our lives. Our hearts break daily thinking about them and praying for them. The sadness I feel is hard to deal with at times. I compare it to someone close to you passing away. The want for them to accept Christ is comparable to wanting your loved one who has passed to be with you for just one more day, Because you know that if they do accept Christ that you will never be without their companionship. Yet if they continue to deny Christ and push him out of their lives. You know that there will be a separation that will last for eternity.

Essentially if they are outside of the grace of God all we have is the time that each day brings, and who knows if the last time we were with them was really the last time we will be with them. Yet under the grace that was given to us through what Christ did on the cross. We are free from that fear and sadness, and our heads can sleep peacefully upon our pillows. Knowing that our loved ones will be with us for eternity and we shall never part company. I think of this often and hope God will work miracles and turn hearts of stone into hearts of flesh.

Global Warming Hits Kalispell!

This message was sent using the Picture and Video Messaging service from Verizon Wireless!

It was sunny this morning and then it happened! Nothing like a little snow in June. This is normal for Montana but it still is crazy to think it is snowing in June!

B-Ball

It has been years since I watched a basket ball game. I forgot how much I enjoyed watching the game. The family and I were invited out to a friends house tonight to watch the game, and I have to say I had a really good time. The game was going pretty poorly for the Lakers they were down by twenty and somehow they came back in the 4th quarter with minutes left. Unfortunately they weren't able to pull it off. The Celtics won by 6 points in the end. Watching the game tonight brought back memories of sitting on my dads lap watching Larry Bird shoot three's against our home team the Blazers. I don't know why I don't watch the game anymore. I think I may have to take up watching it next year.

Count Down Continues......

1 week away from VACATION!!!! I am counting down the seconds until I can sleep in past 11:00 A.M. everyday with the exception of Sunday. I am going to grow facial hair because I have no one dictating to me that I can't have a goatee!!! I will love it and cry when I have to shave it off again. I will Cherish my week of hair on my chin like I'd Cherish a Chocolate shake during a hot and blistering day in the sun! Oh the joy of facial hair and what it brings to me!!! If only the rules of retail would change so I could enjoy it daily! If it weren't for the benefits and vacation I'd find another job just so I could grow facial hair.

I hate to shave but I have to do what is required to keep the paycheck coming in to provide for the family. Facial hair vs. food on the table....food on the table always wins out in the end. Plus 2 weeks of payed vacation rocks! Thank God I live in Montana because I can't afford to go anywhere else for vacation. This state has so many things to enjoy you could spend a life time just trying to do them all! Anyway I am rambling on like a crazed person without direction of thought. As you can see my mind tends to ramble when randomly thinking. I like to call it a whirlwind of randomness. I can type and type and type when not focused. There is a never ending flow of thoughts constantly pumping thought the grey matter of my brain. Most of which I keep to myself or post as I am here right now.

I guess in person I am quiet and somewhat contained to myself. However when I get writing or in an impromptu situation I usually can go on and on like a broken record that never repeats itself! Does that make sense to any of you? I'm not so sure if it was supposed to make sense but I get it because I thought it. There is absolutely no point to this blog post now, and it most likely won't end with one other then the point that I that I have crossed the point of no return, when it comes to rambling. Grammer and punctuation thrown to the dogs........Todd continues to type a blog even though he should have stopped long ago.

Justin my friend I am typing this blog in the old style. Random, pointless, and all together strange, just the way you like em!!! For those of you who don't know Justin, he is my bud that likes to read my blogs for some strange reason. He had to move away and leave Montana. So now we keep in touch via Internet. Did ya know Al Gore invented the Internet?? I think he invented Global Warming just so he could win a Nobel Peace Prize! Anyway let me leave politics out of this!

Who are you voting for?

Another Day

Not to excited about today. I think I'd rather stay home in bed and relax with the wife. As you can tell I'm not too motivated today! Lets get it over with so my weekend can start!

Not in the headlines???

I find it interesting this is not top news. Instead the top news story is where were Obama and Hillary met today? Who really cares when Israel is preparing to attack Iran with U.S. approval! They publicly announce that they will attack Iran here....

http://blogs.usatoday.com/ondeadline/2008/06/top-israeli-off.html

The world is getting crazier by the day.

How Are We To Live?

The book of Romans is a great book to read! In Romans 12 is a guideline on how to live our lives. Notice Paul writes about the Body of Christ. This is the Christian church. What he writes illustrates why it is important to go to church and be around other Christians. I encourage you to read Romans 12 and of course the whole bible. So grab your bible and dust it off! Don't only read it, but live it!

Here is Romans 12.....

A Living Sacrifice to God

1 And so, dear brothers and sisters,* I plead with you to give your bodies to God. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will accept. When you think of what he has done for you, is this too much to ask? 2 Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will know what God wants you to do, and you will know how good and pleasing and perfect his will really is.3 As God’s messenger, I give each of you this warning: Be honest in your estimate of yourselves, measuring your value by how much faith God has given you. 4 Just as our bodies have many parts and each part has a special function, 5 so it is with Christ’s body. We are all parts of his one body, and each of us has different work to do. And since we are all one body in Christ, we belong to each other, and each of us needs all the others.6 God has given each of us the ability to do certain things well. So if God has given you the ability to prophesy, speak out when you have faith that God is speaking through you. 7 If your gift is that of serving others, serve them well. If you are a teacher, do a good job of teaching. 8 If your gift is to encourage others, do it! If you have money, share it generously. If God has given you leadership ability, take the responsibility seriously. And if you have a gift for showing kindness to others, do it gladly.9 Don’t just pretend that you love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Stand on the side of the good. 10 Love each other with genuine affection,* and take delight in honoring each other. 11 Never be lazy in your work, but serve the Lord enthusiastically.12 Be glad for all God is planning for you. Be patient in trouble, and always be prayerful. 13 When God’s children are in need, be the one to help them out. And get into the habit of inviting guests home for dinner or, if they need lodging, for the night.14 If people persecute you because you are a Christian, don’t curse them; pray that God will bless them. 15 When others are happy, be happy with them. If they are sad, share their sorrow. 16 Live in harmony with each other. Don’t try to act important, but enjoy the company of ordinary people. And don’t think you know it all!17 Never pay back evil for evil to anyone. Do things in such a way that everyone can see you are honorable. 18 Do your part to live in peace with everyone, as much as possible.19 Dear friends, never avenge yourselves. Leave that to God. For it is written,“I will take vengeance;I will repay those who deserve it,”*says the Lord.20 Instead, do what the Scriptures say:“If your enemies are hungry, feed them.If they are thirsty, give them something to drink, and they will be ashamed of what they have done to you.”*21 Don’t let evil get the best of you, but conquer evil by doing good.

A Spiritual Box

Have you ever felt that you were stuck in a spiritual box. Have you ever had the desire and passion to do more then you already are but you have no idea what, where, or the how? That is where I am currently. I am seeking direction from God but at this point there is no answer as of yet. So I am seeking what direction to take. I am filled with a passion for the Lords word and I am seeking a way to do more to glorify God. I know I have a great desire to help others. I have a desire to learn more about Gods word so I am a better witness. I know I need to be patient and wait because I am on Gods time.

However it isn't easy knowing that I am supposed to do something more, yet I don't know what it is yet. I want to do more but I am waiting for God to show me the way. I want to be sure I am doing what God wants me to do. I am where God wants me and I will be where God wants me in the future. Where that is only God knows. I'll still seek the answer but I've found that answer is sometimes far off and sometimes next week. I hope it is next week because truthfully I don't think we have much time left here on Earth. Whether we go out in a Pre-Trib/Post-Trib fashion that is yet to be determined.

Many have opinions on it and many may or may not be right. It really doesn't matter because we can all agree that Jesus is coming back in a little while. As it says here in Hebrews....

Hebrews 10:37 - “For in just a little while, the Coming One will come and not delay.

Where I also found an answer to my current spiritual situation.....

Hebrews 10:35 - Do not throw away this confident trust in the Lord, no matter what happens. Remember the great reward it brings you! 36 Patient endurance is what you need now, so you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that he has promised.

See God just commented on my blog through Hebrews 10:35 pretty cool huh? Looks like it only took minutes for me to get an answer rather then a week or months. So I'll stay the course and see where I am lead.

Are You Awake?

Usually when I see them coming I hide when they start knocking on my door. However this time was different. I came home on my lunch break and realized my wife was talking with some Jehovah Witnesses at our front door. I decided to join them and get in on the conversation. As always they handed us a copy of Awake magazine and talked of the end times. We sat there and listened to what they had to say. When they finished I turned to my wife and asked her if she had invited them to service in the park. She stated that she hadn't yet. So I extended an invitation for them to join us and our Church at depot park for good food and a good message.

What an awesome opportunity! They witness to you and that gives you more room to witness to them! Why didn't I use this as a means to wittiness you others before? Instead of dreading a weekly visit I should have looked forward to it. This is how I will handle knocks on the door from Mormons and Jehovah Witnesses from now on.

While shopping today we came upon the most absurd thing ever!!! All I could think of is this all natural thing is getting crazy! Never in a million years would I have thought that such a thing would exist! SOY TOILET SCRUB I had no idea that toilets could be lactose intolerant! Once again this proves my point that they'll create anything for a quick buck! Next they'll be making low carb shower cleaner!

I know some of you out there might be thinking....."Hey where can I pick that up?" You can pick it up at Smith's in Kalispell. I should have checked to see if it was edible for emergeny situations when you forget to pick up the milk for your breakfast cereal in the morning. I tend to do that a lot and if it can serve two purposes then all the better!

UPDATE: I saw this on T.V. shortly after I posted this and had to share it!
