Can't Sleep!!!

Well I can't sleep tonight! Today was a good day. I woke up drank some coffee, and went to Church with my family. Today's service was great just like all of the services at my Church are. Feel free to check the services out on the archived podcasts here.....

After Church we came home and the kids and I talked a bit about what they learned in Sunday school. I was pleased to hear that they were learning about Jesus and salvation. It seems like this is the first Sunday school that has done that for them. This lets me know we have made the right choice in church.Today was superbowl Sunday and I didn't watch it. I had no desire to do so. All day and all week all I think about is God and how blessed I am to have him in my life. I never am without a person to talk to, or an ear to hear my worries.

I would be completly filled with dread without the companionship and friendship I have with God. Recently, I surrendered myself 100% to God and it has been the best choice I have made. In the past I only let 50% of myself rely on God. I knew that scripture said that one can not serve 2 masters especialy if you are trying to serve God. I ignored that and tried to serve God as well as serve my own worldly desires. I was wrong like I knew I was.

So now I'm here serving God and loving it. My family is growing closer together since this change. I can't wait to see what fruit we bare, and where the Lord will lead us. I just pray that one day I too can bring people to know Jesus as I do. That is by far the greatest thing I think I could ever do. It hurts to know that some people will ignor historical and scientific finds that all point to Jesus being our savior as well as the validity of the bible.

When history is combined with science and both come to a conclusion that had been written in scrolls over 2000 years ago. One would think that would be proof enough. I guess maybe it isn't for some. Even though the apostles wrote about Jesus showing that they all witnessed the same things and the consistancy between their writtings is staggering. Especially if you take into account that the new testament was written by different people (The Apostles) at different times and all give a detailed account about the events that bore witness to the life of Jesus Christ.

You know I could go on and on but I doubt many would have read down this far. So I am heading to bed to try to get some sleep. Good night all and I hope tomorrow brings many good things your way. I pray that those who find it hard to read the bible and believe whats in it, that they look into the history and science that helps prove what is written in the pages of the greatest book ever written!
