Donna and Ritch

Donna and Ritchie will be in tonight from North Dakota where they attended Ritchies brothers funeral. I am hoping they can make it up to Glacier Park and also to make it to our Church. They've been so busy these past few years they haven't gone to Church and I think they'd love Fresh Life. We all used to listen to Greg Laurie and Bill Ritchie on the Radio on the way to work together. So I'm hoping if they make it to Fresh Life they may start going to Church once things settle down for them.
I can't wait to see the both of them! It has been too long! I miss them both and can't wait to hang with the Ritch myster! I'll have to drag them out into the woods so they can see the views! The beauty in Montana truly is hard to explain in words.

Good news!!!

Good News!!!!

Stacey has a job interview tonight!!! Please pray that she gets hired. Hopefully this will enable us to get back on our feet again. Well I gotta go work out I am feeling up to par again to where I feel I can. I don't want to but after the Great Northern Climb I realize I need to desperately! Next time I tackle that peak I'm running up!!! Ok maybe not quite running up but next time I won't be crawling!

DUDE I CAN'T SLEEP!!!!

My mind is running non-stop! I’m thinking of so many things at once. I’m thinking about how I want to bring people to Christ so bad that I can’t sleep! I’m thinking about Greg Laurie and the loss of his son earlier this week, and how he got up 3 days after his sons tragic death and spoke in front of his congregation. Emotional and still feeling the great sorrow one feels when loosing a child. He got up there and spoke tremendously inspiring things. I’m thinking on how he got to where he was from where he began.

Looking back to Sunday morning I am thinking how my pastor struggled to hold back tears while at the pulpit when he told our congregation about the death of his friend Christopher Laurie. Yet he still delivered his sermon and made it informative and funny. Not only that but he did it twice in one day! I don't know if you've ever lost anyone close to you, but It would have been a very difficult thing to do.

People that can get up in the face of trial and uncomfortable situations are few and far between. They show up where most would call in sick or use bereavement, but instead they face the crowds still vulnerable yet strong in spirit. These are the things that inspire me. The guy at Foys Lake was inspiring to me also. He stood up and preached while some on lookers mocked him and offered him beer even though he stated he was a recovering alcoholic.

In my mind these are truly men among men! Men who will stand for what is true and good. Men who will stand in the line of fire in order to tell others about Jesus and salvation! Why do so many of us fall into our protective shells rather then share with great happiness the truth of the Bible! We are afraid of being judged by others. Made fun of and looked down upon.

There is always someone who will make fun of you. There is always someone who will look down upon you. The question is? Are you going to let it get the best of you? From what I’ve seen the last two weeks I’d say it has gotten the best of me. I’m no longer going to fear being judged by others by my faith in God. If you don’t agree with me, then so be it. I’d rather be judged by you then condemned by God.

All the apostles felt the same way. They all went to death because they would not deny Christ as thier savior. Why then should we fold if someone points or laughs. The most powerful of all testimonies comes from when we are weak in the world but strong in the Lord. Now that I’ve vented some of my thoughts tonight maybe I’ll be able to sleep. Lets all try to step out of our comfort zones so that we can bring glory to God through each of our lives. In the end all that matters is how we lived our lives for God, and not how popular or politically correct we were.

Good night all! Thanks for listening to me vent.

My progress....

I told you I was working on a report on Psalms 22 and Isaiah 53. I've been delayed in doing so due to the fact I couldn't get Microsoft Word downloaded on to my computer because I couldn't find the security key to get it to download. My lovely wife got it running for me today and I started my report. I've been working on it for a couple of hours now. Finding the cross referencing scripture is the hard part. Putting it into a form for people with short attention spans is another.

I could write pages upon pages showing the proofs that are found in the pages of the bible that so many don't know about. The misconceptions on the reliability of the bible are staggering so people don't read it because of them. They don't know that the accounts of the crucifixion of Christ were written shortly after the event, or even that the accounts are from eye witnesses. The old translation of a translation myth comes to mind when I think of these things. People don't realize every translation of the bible was translated from the original manuscripts, and that the gap of time between the events and the dates the manuscripts were written are very small compared too many writings held in high esteem! Such as Shakespeare and Plato!

I guess that is why I feel the need to do this report. So I can show those close to me who doubt the bibles credibility and to show them there is no possible way other then divine intervention that such claims could be made and come true unless there was a God. To show them that the bible is credible and that dating of these manuscripts that make up the bible prove it. So be patient with me and I will produce my report so you can draw your own conclusions. I just hope that it opens your eyes to facts that have been hidden from you for so long.

After looking at what I present in my report. My hope is that those who doubt the credibility of the bible will see there is no possible way that they can look at it that way any longer. Point being if the bible is a translation of a translation of a translation, then how can a prophecy be so accurate when written 800 or more years before the account where that prophecy was fulfilled ?

I hope to show you a clear and persuading look at why I believe the bible is credible and most of all that Jesus Christ is the son of God, and that there is no way to heaven but by him and him alone. The bible stands as proof of that. Once you actually take time to read it and look at the history and science behind it. You’ll find all the lies you’ve heard about it fall short of rational thinking. There is reason to believe the bible is the word of God. It doesn't take to much work to find it. It just takes time and a little understanding.

Listen to this!!!!

As an American Christian there are few dangers involved while attending a Church service. Sure there could be some freak accident that may occur like choking on the bread you eat during communion. However there are no sharp swords to stab yourself with while worshiping in the dark during a full moon. I read the below story and had to laugh. It is about a wiccan good luck ritual performed under the full moon with swords.

Read Story Here

Swords and using them in the dark sounds accident prone to me.

Over Slept......

Hit snooze.......must drink coffee! Get kids ready.....not much time......get a quick blog in between coffee and brushing of teeth. Oh!!!!! Must get dressed because greeting people in pajamas at church might seem a bit wierd. Hope every one has a wonderful mornin!

Gotta run!
